I am a designer and art director currently based in Seattle, WA. I specialize in editorial design, branding, and print design. I now work as an independent editorial and graphic designer and collaborate with specialists in graphic design, visual art, copywriting, photography, interior design, and architecture.

I grew up most of my life in Mexico and studied textile design at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City; then, I completed a one-year intensive program in Interior Design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy. After that, I graduated with a Graphic Design and Brand Development Master’s degree at IED in Madrid, Spain, before moving back to Mexico to continue my career as a Designer.

WHAT I DO

BRAND IDENTITY AND COLLATERALS

Tailoring visual identities by understanding and portraying the nature and core values of a business, product, or service. I strive to capture a brand’s personality and communicate it accurately and consistently through its language, ensuring its memorability over time. I also seek to design effective solutions and communication tools, whether printed or digital.

SIGNAGE, AND WAYFINDING

Understanding architectural projects in depth to adequately portay the brand's graphic identity in a physical space. The signage concept always follows the architectural project. Therefore, it should always integrate harmoniously with its processes and materials. Importantly, wayfinding and signage projects should be 100% human and user-centered to fulfill their function.

EDITORIAL DESIGN

Designing unique editorial layouts and visual aesthetics of books and other publications. I understand each project as a whole, ensuring that there is a flow that potentiates the intention of each book’s contents.

ART DIRECTION FOR INTERIOR & SET DESIGN

Creating concepts that can materialize in projects that meet the client’s needs. I apply my aesthetic and spatial sensibilities to assemble different elements such as materials, textures, colors, furniture, accessories, and/or props to create distinct atmospheres within a space.
